(More customer reviews)If I had to live on ONE gluten-free product...Udi's or otherwise...I would choose these muffins! Light, lemony, crispy topping, very satisfying! Pop into the microwave right from frozen for 45 seconds to a minute, and it's the best quick on-the-run breakfast choice. I don't even have to butter them, they are wonderful au natural. All the muffins are great too....I usually have blueberry and double chocolate on hand in my freezer too. But this is my absolute favorite muffin EVER!

(More customer reviews)These are the best muffins in the world that you can make right at home. Betty Crocks are too sweet. I remember we bought giant boxes of these at a large wholesale warehouse when I was younger and I used to take out a package of the mix and a can of the blueberries on my babysitting overnights. I would make warm muffins for the children I used to watch and they thought I was the best babysitter they ever had. LOVE IN A MUFFIN!!!!
I can buy bulk and save big over the local grocery. I hope Duncan Hines lasts forever!!!!!!!!!! We eat a lot of great muffins here!!! >grin

(More customer reviews)I grabbed the last available lot of these muffins before there was a picture or ingredients list posted, and I should have done my homework first. I wrongly assumed that the contents would be similar to the white rice flax loaf (which is delicious, but the loaves that I received were full of bubbles and holes, and fell apart too easily...I still have a ziplock in the freezer full of bits and pieces). The muffins are indeed gluten, wheat, casein, dairy, egg, soy, and nut free; however, they contain corn, which I personally cannot digest in any form and have no business eating. Here are the ingredients (per the Ener-G website):
Filtered Water, Brown Rice Flour, Tapioca Starch, Resistant Corn Starch, Pear Juice Concentrate, Plum Puree, Potato Starch, Flax Meal, Hi Oleic Safflower Oil, Sweet Rice Flour, Yeast, Methylcellulose, Guar Gum, Citrus Fiber, Salt, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Glucono Delta Lactone, Monocalcium Phosphate. Enriched with Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Niacin, Iron, Folic acid and Vitamin D.
Also, I was disappointed to discover when they arrived that there are 4 english muffins per package, not 6 like I was expecting...my gluten free dollar needs to stretch further than that.

(More customer reviews)I've made these brownies several times and they are awesome :) Are they sweet like a sugar laden brownie? No, they are more like the other vitamuffins in flavor as in they are not super sweet. I like them because they are good and full of nutrition while helping me stay on track with my diet. I would recommend getting the mixes, whether its the brownie mix or the muffin mix because they are *Significantly* cheaper that way. I can't afford anything from Vitalicious unless it's the mixes. Their prices are crazy high for my budget.
I will buy these again and again.
