(More customer reviews)Having grown up near the famous chocolate factory, Ghirardelli, in San Francisco, I feel like NO ONE can beat their chocolate. However, these muffins are another story! No one can be GOOD at EVERYTHING, and Ghirardelli should have stuck to fine chocolate - like their fabulous "60% Cacao (Dark) Chocolate Chips" that must be experienced to be explained. These "Double Chocolate" muffins simply do NOT pack the chocolate PUNCH Ghirardelli is known for - plus, they're expensive! Don't doctor up this inferior mix, just make your own C C Muffins using Ghirardelli 60% Cacao chocolate chips, or add them to a decent mix that you like, to see what its all about.
