Ok - so this book has nice recipes - I like the fact that we're being healthy, organic, etc. However, there are some drawbacks. A lot of the recipes take a lot of time. I am currently on hour 2 of making the shitake sesame grit cakes, which are supposed to be just a side dish! Who has two hours to make a side dish?! Sheryl also comments on how she loves this recipe because it is gluten free. I have Celiac Disease, and this recipe is NOT gluten free. It calls for soy sauce which is made from wheat (Tamari is the GF substitute). I know that doesn't effect many of us, but it could make some people sick, and this book is supposed to be about about being healthy. So far, I would say the recipes have been good, but more difficult or time consuming than they should be.
