(More customer reviews)I use to be a gourmet cook - until I learned I was gluten intolerant. The last two years have been spent learning how to be a gourmet cook AGAIN minus the wide variety of grains and thickeners that other cooks rely upon. This book offers great recipes to replace some of your "staple" items - like Teriyaki Sauce!! Who'd a guessed that soy sauce (which contains wheat) forms the basis of so many other sauces and flavorings?? Anyhow, that said, this cookbook is more than that - its an assist in survival after wheat. And it is excellent.
