(More customer reviews)If you grow heirloom veggies, or you buy them at your local farmer's market, this is the cook book for you. The recipes are listed seasonally, making it easy to come up with the perfect dish no matter the time of year - a great selling point for people who subscribe to a CSA and don't know what to do with all the goodies in their subscription box!
I also think the personal stories of small farmers scattered throughout the book are a nice touch. We all need to start paying closer attention to where our food comes from; and, if you can't grow your own, getting to know a local farmer is the ideal way to start.
And the recipes: They are diverse and easy to follow, and many are accompanied by beautiful pictures. Great book!
