Ice Charades: Penguins Behaving Badly and Other Follies From the Road Review

Years ago, I saw several local ice skating performances and never attended a professional ice show. While reading Ice Charades, I enjoyed being the fly on the wall watching and listening to the back stage events and the personal stories of the the skaters. The book is well written and very easy to follow. I recommend it for a great relaxing read.

Booby Trap (The Odelia Grey Mysteries) Review

Just when things seem to be going heroine Odelia Grey's way -- her home life is settled, her boss's arrogance is down to a low roar, even the dog and cat are getting along -- an elderly friend drops a bomb. Her son, a prominent plastic surgeon, has unexplained connections to a string of women who've turned up dead, all murders attributed to an unknown serial killer dubbed the Blond Bomber. Odelia, as usual, is in the thick of it, but this time her wheelchair-bound hubby is her partner in crime. Their relationship continues to evolve, which keeps this laugh-out-loud series fresh. Odelia is a woman you want to spend time with. Wherever she's headed, I'm along for the ride.

The Accidental Werewolf (The Accidental Series, Book 1) Review

You know when you start to read a book and you get so into it that you forget about eating and sleeping and even your children? This is one of those books. I literally could not put this book down and finished it in 2 days. (It would have been hours, not days but the children did eventually convince me that they needed food.) I cannot wait to read Nina's story. Come on July 2008!!
