(More customer reviews)Anyone who has been on a low carb eating program for any period of time will tell you that it gets boring. We are new to the Dixie Carb Counters line, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent taste. Some of the other low carb lines (like Atkins) have a terrible aftertaste, or require the user to have a great imagination. (Yes....this is really supposed to be a chocolate bar.) But the Dixie Carb items are great. Easy to make, nice portion size, great taste, and no imagination required. It really is a muffin! And...no sugar alcohol! My only issue is that they are a little pricey. Otherwise perfect!

(More customer reviews)I wish I could rate this higher, but they are pretty tasteless. You need to be really desperate for a muffin to eat one of these. They are so light as air, it is almost like you didn't have the muffin at all. The manufacturer needs to add more banana flavouring at least. REally not worth the high item cost and the shipping cost.

(More customer reviews)All in all the blueberry muffins were good. They are not super-sweet like many store or cafe bought muffins, but they were still yummy. The texture is soft and fluffy, not cardboard. It was nice to have these as a low-carb treat.
The only negative is that the package only makes 11-12 small muffins at 4 carbs each (1 muffin is a serving). I used the standard cupcake sized silicon baking cups and only got 11 with none of them baking any higher than the top of the cups. One won't fill you up enough to have as breakfast by itself, but they make a great snack in the afternoon or paired with some berries for desert.
