(More customer reviews)I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (hypothyroidism) two years ago. I have tried all of the low-fat high carb diets and just gained weight. Because of how my body now handles insulin and the glycemic values of foods, I have to follow a diet such as this. The results: I have been on the diet for 6 weeks and have lost 10 lbs. On previous diets there was no weight loss. To all of those who are hypothyroid it's not us, it's how we eat! This is a lifestyle change. It has not been hard either.
