(More customer reviews)Meeting Lindsay on Twitter shortly after deciding to go Vegan was one of the best things that ever happened to me and I was really excited when Lindsay chose me to be one of her testers for this cookbook. Newly vegan I wasn't sure where to start. Lindsay introduced me to new foods with her creative, easy, few ingredient recipes.
I thought Chickpeas were something you sprinkled on salads at the salad bar but Lindsay has some really tasty recipes with them. I used to make Tofu Scramble with tofu, oil and a box mix. No oil, some tofu and a few spices add up to the best Tofu Scramble I've ever had. Make French Toast without eggs? Lindsay does and it is better than the real thing. Home fries without the fat? Lindsay has it! The BBQ Chop Wrap is one of my favorite all time recipes. I make the single serving brownie almost every week! And don't get me started on her Pumpkin Pie...
Recently I discovered that I can't tolerate Gluten and also had to cut back on Soy - Lindsay's book has many recipes that I enjoy.
Giving up all the fat for flavorful food cleared up my skin and helped me lose weight while feeling good.
I highly recommend Lindsay's book for anyone who enjoys food.

(More customer reviews)As a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, I know that a pan of brownies in the house can easily lead to a pan of brownies in my belly. What I love about No Pudge is that you can make a single serving. Directions are on the box. I mix two tablespoons of my favorite lowfat yogurt (the BEST is Axelrod black cherry - which makes this a Black Forest brownie) with 1/4 cup No Pudge mix and pop it in the micro for two minutes. This is a double brownie. The single brownie is too dinkie to satisfy me. Then I slather the rest of the yogurt over the brownie. The creamy yogurt mixes through the chewy brownie and is my hands down favorite send my belly to bed happy nighttime snack. 5 weight watchers points with the double serving and yogurt.

Krusteaz Banana Supreme Muffin Mix, Fat Free, 14-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) Review

(More customer reviews)I try to eat healthy most of the time, and these muffins (and the other Krusteaz ones) really help at breakfast time, when I often have 2 or 3 different types. I stock up when amazon has them in stock as it seems to be a bit hit or miss. (Right now I think I have a year's supply, lol!) They're a cinch to make -- just add a cup of water. Of course you can make variations too, and I often do, e.g. add a very ripe mashed-up banana, add blueberries or other fruit (fresh cherries, cut up and pitted of course, are really yummy in these muffins!), sprinkle cinnamon on top before baking. They freeze VERY well -- in fact I usually bake lots of different types of Krusteaz muffins once a month or so, then freeze them for simplicity at breakfast time. And honestly, I think these taste better than full-fat muffins, which always seem very heavy to me.
